The Egyptian embassy in Algeria continued to receive expat ballots by mail until 10 pm CLT, provided that the envelopes indicate that they had been sent on August 9 on 10 as per the instructions of the National Elections Authority (NEA), Musharrafa told MENA.

He added that the ballots, along with vote counting records, will be furnished to the Foreign Ministry which will send them to the NEA to count them with the votes cast at home before announcing the election results.

Musharrafa commended the political awareness of Egyptian expats in Algeria who were keen on participating in the election convinced of the importance of their role in building the future of their nation.
