Egypt’s Sisi receives greets on anniversary of July 23 Revolution

CAIRO – 22 July 2020: Egypt’s President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received, Wednesday greets from several Arab leaders and senior officials on the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

Bahraini King Hamad bin Isssa Al Khalifa greeted President Sisi on the anniversary, wishing Egypt more progress and prosperity.

He also lauded strong ties binding the two countries.

King Salman bin Abdel Aziz of Saudi Arabia greeted Sisi, Wednesday through a cable according to the Saudi news agency.

He expressed good wishes to the Egyptian leader and people and hoped that Egypt would achieve more progress and development.

Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah sent a cable of greeting to President Abdel Sisi as well on the 68th anniversary of the Revolution, expressing good wishes to the Egyptian leader and people and hoped that Egypt would achieve more progress and development.

Also, the Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit greeted Sisi, asserted the AL's keenness on cooperating with Egypt to achieve more progress.

Several numbers of Egyptian officials greeted President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi including Mufti Shawqy Allam and Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb

In its statement Wednesday, the Egyptian Iftaa House, said, the Armed Forces will always be the shield that protects the nation.

Brave Egyptian soldiers have sacrificed their souls for the sake of the people, and the military is still firmly acting to uproot terrorism and maintain Egypt’s security and stability, Allam said.

He urged Egyptians to exert further efforts to counter attempts by terrorist groups to provoke chaos and destruction in the region.

Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Armed forces and the Egyptian people on the 68th anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

In his statement, Tayyeb said that the revolution resulted in a radical change in the structure of the Egyptian community.

Tayyeb lauded the role of the Egyptian army in countering any danger facing the country, wishing Egypt more progress, stability and security.
