CAIRO – 19 July 2020: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi had a phone call Sunday with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the latest developments in Palestine.

The conversation between the two presidents included the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, as President Sisi asserted the unchangeable Egyptian stance on the Palestinian cause and the continued coordination to reach a strategic vision capable of realizing fair and comprehensive peace, said Presidential spokesperson Bassam Radi.

Abbas asserted Egyptian historic role and efforts to support the rights of the Palestinian people, and the deep relations between the two nations. The two leaders decided to continue the coordination regarding regional issues of common interest.
