Prosecution releases Al Manassa editor in chief Nora Younis on LE 10,000 bail

CAIRO -25 June 2020: Maadi Prosecution decided, Thursday to release the editor in chief of Al Manassa website, Nora Younis, on bail LE 10,000, pending investigations.

Younis was arrested Wednesday after being accused of several charges.

According to Prosecution, Younis is accused of operating a platform that facilitates cybercrimes, operating a website without permission from the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, violating the copyright under intellectual property law along with the ‘unjust use' of the information system network and telecommunications technology.
