CAIRO – 23 June 2020: Factories operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Military Production have manufactured 1,298 sterilization booths in 15 days to be used as part of the plan to protect high school students while taking their exams.

The booths were distributed among 11 governorates, namely Cairo, Giza, Qaliubiya, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Alexandria, Matrouh, Gharbia, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh and Menoufia.

Egypt allocated LE 700 million for the first stage of the exams.

As part of the plan, students should come two hours earlier than the exam time to undergo a check-up, and apply the precautionary measures.

The spokesperson further added that the number of exam rooms was doubled from 28,000 to 55,000 across the country, and the number of supervisors was also doubled.
