CAIRO - 8 June 2020: Yemen's Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik has praised the vital role played by Egypt in the Arab world as the main supporter of peace, security and stability in the region.

This came during a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouli on Sunday in which they reviewed the deeply rooted historic ties between both countries.

Abdulmalik lauded Egypt's contributions to maintain peace in the Arab region, including the recent initiative launched by President Abdul Fattah El Sisi to resolve the Libyan crisis.

Both premiers also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest as well as the most previous military developments in Yemen.
