Russia will start coronavirus vaccine clinical trials

MOSCOW, June 2 (MENA) - Russia has started preparations for starting a coronavirus vaccine clinical trials in the scientific research central institute of the Russian Defense Ministry.

A statement issued by the Defense Ministry on Tuesday said that successful vaccine studies have been conducted in the institute against other diseases such as Ebola.

The ministry has completed choosing volunteers from the military for conducting the clinical trials and the first group of them will arrive at the institute on Wednesday, said the statement, adding that the group includes 45 military men and five military women.
