CAIRO- 24 June 2017: The head of the parliament’s human rights committee has strongly condemned a foiled terrorist attack that targeted the Grand Mosque of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

"The Grand Mosque of Mecca is a red line and those who carried out such cowardly attempt have no religion or nation", Alaa Abed, who is also heading the parliamentary bloc of the Free Egyptians Party, said in a statement on Saturday.

"Such terrorist plots require a decisive stance from the international community to wipe out terrorism and all terrorist organizations that stemmed from the Muslim Brotherhood group," he added.
