CAIRO – 23 May 2023: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi issued Saturday a presidential pardon for 3157 prisoners for the arrival of Eid al Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast).

The Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi and the first lady Intisar al Sisi congratulated the Egyptian people for the arrival of Eid al Fitr ( Festival of Breaking the Fast).

The president used his official Facebook page to congratulate the Egyptians.

“I congratulate the Egyptian people and the Islamic nation on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, calling on God Almighty to bring goodness, blessings, and more prosperity in order to build a better future for Egypt and all Egyptians.

I take this opportunity to extend my great gratitude and appreciation to all the families of the righteous martyrs of Egypt, who gave the best examples of courage and sacrifice in order to make heroism that has broken waves of terrorism and evil, in order Egypt can enjoy security and stability.
