Head of parl't Arab affairs committee condemns Mecca attack

CAIRO 24 June 2017: The head of parliament's Arab affairs committee Saad el Gammal has strongly condemned the foiled terrorist attack that targeted Mecca's Grand Mosque.

He stressed the Egyptian people's support for the Saudi king, government and people in the joint war against terrorism and its sponsors.

In statements to MENA on Saturday, Gammal praised Saudi security bodies and Interior Ministry for their success in thwarting the assault.

He further underlined that the terrorists aimed at destabilizing the Arab country and intimidating innocent Muslim worshipers.
