Awqaf min. decides to set up unit to measure religious public opinion

CAIRO, May 4 (MENA) - Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa decided to set up a unit to measure the religious public opinion at the Awqaf Ministry.

In statements on Sunday, the minister said that he appointed Ahmed Abdel Raouf, the head of the central department for monitoring and evaluation, as the unit's chairman.

The unit, which groups a number of university professors and experts in measuring public opinion, will be tasked with assessing the performance indicators for the Awqaf Ministry in the various fields and determining the issues that occupy religious public opinion from all segments, especially youth.
