Sisi, Museveni hold talks on bilateral cooperation

KAMPALA- 22 June 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi and his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni held on Thursday talks on the sidelines of the first-ever summit grouping Nile basin countries.

Talks tackled fostering cooperation between Egypt and Uganda in all domains as well as strengthening cooperation among Nile-basin states.

Heads of state and prime ministers of the Nile Basin countries on Thursday started their closed session in Entebbe city of Uganda with the participation of President Abdel Fatah El Sisi.

The session is set to tackle how to make utmost use of the Nile water and means of boosting bilateral cooperation.
The Nile Basin Countries Summit is scheduled to start shortly after the session.
