Sisi issues decree extending state of emergency for 3 more months

CAIRO, April 28 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued a decree extending the state of emergency nationwide for three months as of 1 a.m. local time on Tuesday, 28 April 2020.

Under the decree No. 168 for 2020, the Armed Forces and police will take all measures needed to confront terrorism and its funding resources and strengthen security across the country.

The decree was published in the Gazette.
