CAIRO - 22 June 2017: The cabinet held on Thursday its weekly meeting under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss a number of political, economic, social and security files.

The meeting took up the rise in subsidies allocations alongside a number of important ministerial decisions and bills.

The ministers also discussed means of facilitating measures to encourage investments as well as preparations for Eidul Fitr.

The ministers also tackled efforts exerted to improve the investment climate and reduce the effects of inflation as per directives by President Abdel Fatah El Sisi.

The ministers tackled activating the role of regulatory bodies, monitoring markets and preventing monopolistic practices in support of the low-income and most-needy people.
