Journalists Syndicate donates EGP 100,000 to Tahya Misr Fund

CAIRO, April 11 (MENA) - The council of the Journalists Syndicate will donate EGP 100,000 to support the state's efforts to soften the impact of the novel coronavirus outbreak on irregular workers, especially those working in the media domain.

The council opened a bank account with a 100,000-pound balance dedicated to Tahya Misr Fund efforts that intends to support the irregular workers who have been badly effected by the COVID-19 crisis, according to a statement issued by the syndicate on Saturday.

The council pleaded with all members of the syndicate and fellow journalists to donate and transfer money to the balance.
