Egyp's Awqaf min: Abiding by coronavirus precautionary measures 'national, religious duty'

CAIRO, March 31 (MENA) - Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said that self-preservation and abiding by the preventive measures is "a national and religious duty" to stem the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

In statements on Tuesday, the minister stressed the necessity of taking the opinion of experienced specialists as to all preventative measures that must be taken to counter the spread of coronavirus.

"We must all realize that so far, prevention is the only treatment to curb the spread of this pandemic," Gomaa made it clear.
