Amb: Croatia supports Egypt in its fight against coronavirus

CAIRO - 24 March 2020: Croatia has confirmed its full support for Egypt in its fight against coronavirus, said Croatian Ambassador in Egypt Tomislav Bosnjak on Tuesday.

Bosnjak said that the virus could be defeated through joint cooperation and concerted international efforts, expressed condolences to the families of the victims who died due to the virus.

The ambassador pointed out that the virus has affected activities at the global level, adding that cultural activities that were planned in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor were postponed due to the virus.

Most of public services in Europe were cut down, he said, adding that many shops were shut down due to the virus.

He also added that his country is holding its meetings and conferences via video, saying Croatia will cancel all the major event if the situation continues to deteriorate.
