MARSA MATROUH, June 20 (MENA) – As many as 532 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum Crossing over the past 24 hours, Marsa Matrouh security chief Mokhtar el Senbary said on Tuesday.

As many as 57 trucks crossed to the Egyptian side via the crossing.

Of all the returnees, 118 had illegally traveled to Libya, he said.

Meanwhile, travel procedures for 532 persons, including 253 Egyptians and 259 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.

A total of 85 trucks laden with foodstuffs, construction materials and marble left the crossing to Libya, he said.

Senbary also noted that 57 empty trucks arrived at the crossing to be loaded with Egyptian commodities. (MENA)
