CAIRO, March 22 (MENA) - Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Nabila Makram Sunday denied reports circulated on social media about the illegal arrival of a boat carrying coronavirus infected Egyptians from Italy to the Nile Delta governorate of Kafr el Sheikh.

The minister contacted Kafr el Sheikh Governor Gamal Noor el Din who refuted the news and described it as groundless. He also added that the security bodies haven't reported any boats coming from Italy towards Kafr el Sheikh coasts throughout the past period.

Meanwhile, Makram advised social media users to contact the bodies concerned to verify the credibility of any news they read on the internet.
