CAIRO - 19 March 2020: The World Health Organization (WHO) announced its numbers of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic cases as of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, around the globe.

A total of 191,127 confirmed cases were registered at the organization’s data, including 7,807 deaths.

“WHO COVID-19 Situation Reports present official counts of confirmed COVID19 cases, thus differences between WHO reports and other sources of COVID19 data using different inclusion criteria and different data cutoff times are to be expected,” said WHO in its Situation Report (No.58) on Thursday.

As yet the number of confirmed cases all over the world reached 231,362, including 9,391 deaths and 86,261 recovered.

On March 10, 2020, the virus was announced a global pandemic by the World Health Organization.

Egypt’s Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday evening that 14 new coronavirus cases were detected, including two foreigners and 12 Egyptians, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 210.

The global infected cases of the virus reached 221,926 people and 8,999 deaths were reported to date.
