Egypt, France confer on cooperation in military, civil fields

CAIRO, March 12 (MENA) - State Minister of Military Production Mohamed Saeed el Assar met with CEO of the French company of Thales Group Patrice Caine.

Thales is one of the international companies operating in the field of communications and electronics.

The meeting comes within the framework of a series of meetings between Egypt and France to follow up the developments of mutual cooperation in the different military and civil fields in addition to exchanging points of view on transferring expertise and localizing modern technology in the different domains, Assar said.

Meanwhile, Caine said that Thales Group is keen on promoting partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production, asserting France's interest in cooperating with Egypt in the different military and civil fields including air defense systems, land stations controlling satellites and communication devices.
