26 of Egypt's 59 confirmed coronavirus cases test negative

CAIRO - 10 March 2020: Out of Egypt's 59 confirmed coronavirus cases, the people who have tested negative amounted to 25 Tuesday after receiving the appropriate healthcare.

The condition of the 26 people is stable and they are still in the quarantined hospital in Matrouh, being treated according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.

Khaled Megahed, spokesperson of the Health Ministry, said no other coronavirus cases have been detected anywhere else, adding that any new case would be announced in coordination with the World Health Organization.

Meanwhile, entry ports in the country are monitored closely by the ministry, Megahed continued.
