Cairo – 2 March 2020: The Egyptian ministry of antiquities lit Sunday several monuments in different governorates with the Chinese flag as a gesture of solidarity with the Chinese people in their fight against Coronavirus outbreak.

The lit-up monuments included Salah El Din citadel in Cairo, Karnak temple complex in Luxor, and Philae Temple in Aswan.
