Sisi and Mohammed bin Zayed emphasize to stop funding terrorist groups

CAIRO – 19 June 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and Mohammed bin Zayed Sultan Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi emphases the need to stop funding terrorist groups and stopped supplying weapons and fighters.

Presidency spokesperson, Ambassador Alaa Youssef said in a Monday statement that al-Sisi praised the UAE role to promote cooperation between two sides. Sisi stressed Egypt's keenness to further develop bilateral relations at all levels.

For his side, prince bin Zayed stressed his country’s continued support to Egypt at all the fields. He stressed the importance of Egypt's role in the region as a pillar of stability, peace and security, praising Egypt's efforts in the fight against terrorism.

The two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultation, especially in this delicate phase witnessed by the region, which is increasing challenges that threaten its security and stability.

Sisi received Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Monday at the Ittihadiya Palace in Heliopolis, Cairo
