CAIRO - 4 February 2020: The Egyptian authorities have succeeded in bringing back 32 fishermen, who were detained in Yemen for two months.

They arrived on board a private jet at Cairo International Airport.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram said the move clearly testifies to the state's keenness to protect its nationals abroad.

The 32 fishermen were held in Yemen after they went fishing in restricted areas of the Red Sea.
