CAIRO - 20 January 2020: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and a number of heads and leaders of African countries participated in a reception hosted by Duke of Cambridge Prince William at Buckingham Palace.

Heads of African and British companies attending the UK-Africa Investment Summit also participated in the reception.

The summit was inaugurated on Monday by President Sisi, as the president of the African Union, alongside British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

It is scheduled that new investment deals between Egypt and Britain in strategic sectors , including health care, education, energy and manufacturing, will be announced during the summit.

The London Summit will pave the way for the conclusion of investment deals, and the mobilization of investments, whether sustainable or new, to create jobs and enhance mutual benefit through new partnerships between Britain and the countries of the African continent.

As many as 21 countries will take part in the summit, with Egypt attending as president of the African Union.

The summit aims at shedding light on investment opportunities in Africa and increasing the rates of British investments in Africa.
