CAIRO, Jan 19 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry Sunday discussed with his Italian counterpart Luigi de Mayo, in the German capital Berlin, the evolving Libyan situation.

The talks were held on the sidelines of the Berlin summit on Libya, set to kicks off later in the day.

The ministers took up regional files of common concern, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez.

They also tackled ways of boosting efforts meant to reach a comprehensive settlement to the Libyan crisis and rendering the Berlin summit a success through removing all hindrances impeding the talks, the spokesman added.
