CAIRO, Jan 14 (MENA) - State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Saeed el Assar discussed with Belarus Ambassador in Cairo Sergei Terentiev developing ties between Egypt and Belarus in the industrial field to benefit from the latest Belarus technology and industrial potentials available in the military production companies to increase the percent of local component and the added value in the local industry.

In a statement on Tuesday, Assar asserted that the Ministry of Military Production is working on increasing the competitiveness of its products at the Egyptian, Arab and African levels.

Assar presented the vision of the ministry on deepening the local manufacturing via cooperation with Belarus companies.

Terentiev said that the Egyptian companies of military production have technological, manufacturing, technical and human potentials, adding that this encouraged several Belarus companies to hold more partnerships with military production companies.

Terentiev lauded the role of the ministry in supporting and encouraging investment in Egypt and strengthening distinguished ties between Egypt and Belarus.
