AOI contemplates e-commerce cooperation with African states

CAIRO - 13 January 2020: Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Moneim al-Taras met on Sunday with CEO of A-eTrade Group Mulualem Syoum, AU Representative at COMESA Amani Asfour, and Chairman and CEO of FiberMisr Ahmed Mekky to establish an e-commerce platform.

Last December, AOI signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korea's "Gwangju Technopark" to boost bilateral cooperation in the fields of multipurpose vehicles, home electronics, medical industries, healthcare, and renewable energy.

In November, AOI announced launching the smart electric bus system, where e-payment will be possible through a coalition including AOI, Wanxiang, United Investment Group, Mwasalat Misr S.A.E., and other companies operating in the sector of smart solutions.
