Sisi sends cable of congratulations to new sultan of Oman

CAIRO - 12 January 2020: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi sent a cable of congratulations to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said on the occasion of assuming the reins of power as Sultan of Oman.

According to a statement released on Sunday by official spokesman for the presidency Bassam Rady, the president wished the new sultan success in completing the construction efforts and development process started by late Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed.

Sisi highlighted the strong bonds between the two countries, expressing aspiration for more fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples and the Arab nation, and wishing the Sultanate of Oman and its people all progress, peace and prosperity.
