350k surgeries performed as part of Sisi initiative to deal with waiting lists

CAIRO, Jan 7 (MENA) - Minister of Health Hala Zayed announced on Tuesday conducting 349,775 urgent surgeries as part of an initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to avoid waiting list problems in July 2018.

Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Khaled Megahed said that the surgeries include cardiac catheterization, open heart operations, eye surgeries, neurological surgeries, orthopedic surgeries and oncology surgeries.
