CAIRO - 4 December 2019: Minister of Health Hala Zayed headed to United States, leading a delegation of senior health officials, for talks on continuing training programs offered by Harvard Medical School for Egyptian doctors, within the framework of the Egyptian fellowship program.

The Harvard training of first batch of Egyptian doctors was carried out in December, According to Health Ministry's Spokesman Khaled Mogahed on Saturday.

The second training program for Egyptian doctors slated for early February, is centered on clinical research, the statement added.

The minister will also discuss ways to cooperate in training programs with the Harvard Colleges of Public Health and Business Administration.

Zayed witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding last November between each of the Egyptian fellowship affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Population and the Department of Graduate Studies for Medical Education at Harvard Medical College of America for a period of three years to train a number of batches of trainers in the Egyptian fellowship.
