CAIRO - 19 December 2019: Head of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayek on Wednesday said that terrorism and armed conflicts along with poverty and unemployment are the major causes of illegal migration.

In press statements on the occasion of the World Migration Day, he called for taking all measures to end this phenomenon through addressing its causes.

Meanwhile, he urged improving the living conditions of migrants and ending all forms of discrimination against them.
