Meetings of Arab Economic and Social Council committee kick off at AL premises

CAIRO, Dec 10 (MENA) - The 48th session of the executive committee of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League kicked off on Tuesday at the Arab League premises under the chairmanship of UAE Minister of Economy Mohamed Saleh Shelwah.

The three-day meetings will discuss issues related to the implementation of the Arab free trade zone and a Lebanese request to impose protectionist measures on some national products.

Attending the meetings are representatives of Arab ministries of economy.
