CAIRO - 5 December 2019: The Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday confirmed the death of Four Egyptian citizens in a blast at a ceramic factory in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, Egypt's Middle East News Agency reported.

Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular and Egyptian Expats’ Affairs Yasser Mahmoud Hashem said in a press release that the blast, that took place during the delivery of liquefied natural gas to the factory’s warehouses, killed over 20 people of different nationalities.

He added that Egypt’s Ambassador to Sudan Hosam Eisa immediately contacted the director of the factory and Sudanese officials to take all required legal actions.

The ministry extended its heart-felt condolence to the families of the victims.



The Central Committee of Sudan Doctors on Tuesday reported the death of six people and the injury of 42 others during the blaze.
