CAIRO - 30 November 2019: Dar al-Ifta's Observatory of Takfiri Fatwas and Extremist Views condemned the terrorist attack that took place on London Bridge Friday, when a person stabbed two people to death including the attacker, according to a statement released by the observatory on Saturday.

The statement reported that this act of terrorism is contrary to human nature, and to all the values and heavenly laws, stressing that terrorism has no religion and no nation, urging the international community to fight all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.

The statement pointed out that terrorist bodies, especially the Islamic State (ISIS), has moved towards guerrilla warfare, and cyber wars after its military defeat in its strongholds around the world, adding that this type of confrontation carries a lot of risk due to the difficulty of tracking terrorist elements and determining their targets.

At the end of the statement, the Observatory called for the need to intensify efforts to confront the terrorist groups and organizations electronically and to deny them access to new elements through misleading and false propaganda of those organizations, through which they promote their activities through social media.

According to a statement by the British police that the attacker went on a rampage, targeting people in the Fishmongers Hall near London Bridge - the scene of a deadly attack by Islamic militants two years ago.
