KABUL, Nov 23: A group of 10 Daesh militants surrendered to Afghan Special Forces in eastern Nangarhar province, days after hundreds of the group militants surrendered to security forces in the province, Khaama Press news agency reported on Saturday.

The Special Operations Corps said in a statement late on Friday that the militants surrendered to Special Forces in Achin district.

The statement added that the Daesh militants also handed over 10 Ak-47 assault rifles to Special Forces.

The Ministry of Defense had earlier announced that more than 600 Daesh militants and their family members surrendered to Afghan forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
