Shoukry discusses cooperation with Anna Lindh foundation chief

CAIRO, Nov 12 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held talks on Tuesday with Executive Director of Anna Lindh Foundation for intercultural dialogue Nabil Al Sharif.

The two sides took up means of boosting cooperation between Egypt and the foundation for enhancing intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding among peoples on the two sides of the Mediterranean, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez.

Shoukry confirmed at the meeting Egypt's keenness on offering all support to the foundation so that it could undertake its role in enhancing understanding among peoples of the world, the spokesman pointed out.

Sharif, meanwhile, lauded the Egyptian approach regarding the settlement of social, cultural and humanitarian issues, added the spokesman.
