CAIRO – 30 October 2019: The German minister of foreign affairs Heiko Mass said on Tuesday that he had important discussions with the Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and the foreign minister Sameh Shoukry.

Mass added that his country will return to Egypt the oldest atlas in history that was printed during the Islamic empire era after he gave the Egyptian minister of culture an ancient historic book.

Mass said during a joint press conference with Shoukry that Egypt is one of the most important states in the Arab and North Africa region, the German minister praised Egypt’s stability which is the most concern for the European Union states.
Mass discussed with Shoukry several topics including terrorism and ways to curb it.
