Interior min.: 13 terrorists killed in shoot-out with security forces in El Arish

CAIRO, Oct 29 (MENA) - Thirteen terrorists were killed in a shoot-out with security forces in El Arish on Tuesday, the Interior Ministry has announced.

Security forces attacked a group of terrorists taking refuge inside a deserted house on a farm in Al Hoos district, El Arish, and an exchange of fire that ensued led to the killing of 13 elements.

Six machine-guns, four bird guns, a bomb and two explosive belts were found inside their den.

Legal action has been taken by the security bodies and the Supreme State Security Prosecution is handling the investigation.
