DAMASCUS, Oct 27 (MENA) - Syrian medical sources said 10 bodies were found in the Syrian city of Idlib while inspecting the houses and tents destroyed by the US raid targeting Daesh terror leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Three of the bodies belonged to women.

Earlier in the day, senior Pentagon and army officials confirmed to a US magazine that a targeted attack has killed al-Baghdadi - in hiding since 2017.

The Defense Department told the White House that they have "high confidence" the high-value target killed was him, Newsweek reported.
