CAIRO, Oct 26: Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez underlined Saturday the importance of holding accountable all state sponsors of terrorism.

Addressing a meeting of the Global Coalition Against Daesh's communications working group hosted by Abu Dhabi, Hafez called for throwing the book at any state providing support to terrorist groups, whether by financing them, facilitating their movement or providing them with media platforms to propagate their extremist ideologies.

He also asserted the need to adopt a holistic approach to deal with security, economic, social and educational dimensions of terrorism.

In addition, Hafez highlighted the need to adopt a unified international stance on the heinous phenomena to fight all forms of terrorism without discrimination.

Moreover, the spokesman touched upon the latest developments in Syria in light of the recent Turkish aggression in the northern part of the country as well as its domestic and regional repercussions, including the possible resurgence of Daesh terrorist group.

Egypt will continue its war against any terrorist organizations, including Daesh, Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood and any other group that undermines regional and international stability, Hafez said.
