CAIRO - 17 October 2019: At the graduation ceremony of army's 1st medical batch, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that “compliment” could be one of corruption forms.

“The compliment is corruption; if you want to fight corruption in your country, do not pay anyone a compliment,” he said at the graduation of the first batch of Armed Forces' Faculty of Medicine students, indicating that some people do illegal acts and irregularities such as nepotism in favor of others as a kind of compliment.

President Sisi has always asserted on applying strict measures within the government institutions to crack down on any violation. He hailed the role played by the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) on different occasions.

He praised the new graduates, saying that the Faculty of Medicine of the Armed Forces was a dream six years ago, but now the dream has come true.

President Sisi added that he himself was following up the establishment of the faculty on a daily basis, saying “every official has to follow up [what he is working on] to the end and even after doing his job.”

The President asserted that the faculty students received computer-based tests to avoid nepotism that could be practiced by humans.
