CAIRO, Oct 16 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri will hold talks with his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkēvičs, during his official visit to the Baltic country which will begin on Thursday, on a number of issues pertaining to ways to promote bilateral relations.

The two top diplomats will discuss the latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa and sign an agreement on the mutual exemption of visa for diplomatic passport holders, according to a statement released by the Latvian Foreign Ministry and circulated by the Latvian Embassy here on Wednesday.

Shoukri will be received by the Latvian president and the parliament speaker.
