Putin arrives in UAE on official visit

ABU DHABI, Oct 15 (MENA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived here on Tuesday on an official visit to the UAE for talks on boosting bilateral ties and the most important regional and international files.

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Putin at the airport.

The visit will take up boosting cooperation in the trade, economic and investment sectors in addition to exchanging points of view on vital regional and international issues.

Both sides will tackle means of combating terror and settling the situaiton in Syria, Libya and Yemen.

Putin's visit comes within a Gulf tour which he started by visiting Saudi Arabia
