CAIRO - 2 October 2019: The Cairo Metro Company announced imposing a fine of LE100 on those who paste ads on station walls and trains without prior permission of the company.

The company further stressed that the fine will be collected from the offender immediately.

Police officers at the stations will collect the fines, and in case the violator fails to pay, the policeman will issue a report of the incident to be referred to the Public Prosecution.

The Cairo Metro Company confirmed that the decision aims at achieving discipline and maintaining cleanliness of the stations and trains.
