CAIRO, Sept 23 (MENA) - Minister of Immigration and Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram has discussed in a meeting with Head of the Egyptian American Federation (EAF) Mahmoud Azmi proposals to develop higher education in the country.

During the meeting, Makram said the EAF will serve as a channel of communication between Egypt Can foundation and Egyptian experts in the US, said a statement released by the ministry on Monday.

She added that the EAF will provide data to the foundation about Egyptian seasoned scientists in different fields, the statement added.

For his part, the EAF head said he is fully ready to cooperate with the foundation to serve his country through transferring his long experience in the field of education, the statement read.

Azmi has a vast international experience of more than 32 years in the area of academic consultation for higher education, quality assurance and distant education by various means, in addition to the academic accreditation for universities.
