New school year runs smoothly in Egypt

CAPITALS of Governorates, Sept 22 (MENA) - The new school year ran smoothly in all Egyptian governorates on Sunday after most students celebrated their first back to school day yesterday.

Education Ministry undersecretary Ibrahim el Tadawi said that the state has taken into consideration the social dimension through securing school uniforms and paying school fees for poor students, especially in most needy villages, as well as orphans.

Governors made inspection visits to schools to make sure that study is running regularly without any complaints, underlining that extra attention is given to extracurricular school activities.
