CAIRO – 21 September 2019: Egypt is the fortress of the Arab region that deters enemies, Emirati political analyst Khalid Al Qasimi said in remarks on Saturday.
Qasimi noted that the national army of Egypt has recently delivered numerous blows to terrorism.
“Attempts to defame or target Egypt or its army always bring Egypt closer to our hearts,” Qasimi said. “Al Jazeera and similar platforms are only promoting fake news and lies against the state.”
He also stressed that Arab countries now require development projects to be able to encounter devious schemes, which is being achieved by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.
The political analyst restoring the wheel of development that has stalled for more than 30 years in Egypt is not a simple matter, “and every sincere Arab national will support Egypt in its development process because it is the heart of the nation and the source of pride and dignity.”
A former Muslim Brotherhood member has warned on Friday that the terrorist group is plotting a psychological war against Egyptians to sow frustration across the country.
Ibrahim Rabie, a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood, stressed that the terrorist group is seeking to bring down the Egyptian state.
Rabie said the group seeks to topple Egypt through a number of mechanisms, most importantly “psychological wars”, which are being generously funded by enemy countries.
