RIYADH - 6 September 2019: The efforts of Saudi Arabia and the UAE are the main cornerstone for settling crises besetting some Yemeni southern governorates, said Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed al Jaber.

Saudi Arabia and the Arab coalition prioritize the achievement of security and stability in Yemen along with supporting the legitimate government, Sky News channel quoted Tweets of the ambassador.

The kingdom deeply appreciates the sacrifices and bravery of those in the south facing the scourge of Houthi militants, al Jaber added.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia said it is following up the latest developments in Aden and Yemen's southern governorates. It also expressed complete rejection of the recent escalation and its consequences, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
